About the role
We are seeking fluent English speakers based in the United States to participate in high-quality audio transcription and annotation tasks. In this role, you will listen to recorded conversations and accurately transcribe and label audio data to support the development of advanced AI systems. These tasks involve converting speech into text while capturing nuances such as tone, pauses, disfluencies, and non-verbal elements (e.g., laughter, breathing). Your work will help train and evaluate next-generation conversational AI by providing precise, structured, and context-rich datasets. Your contributions will directly support the development of AI systems that better understand human speech, intent, and real-world conversational dynamics.

Responsibilities
- •Expect Commitment: ~ 10hrs/week
- •Audio Transcription: Accurately transcribe recorded conversations, maintaining high fidelity to the original speech.
- •Annotation & Labeling: Tag elements such as speaker turns, pauses, disfluencies, emotions, and non-speech sounds (e.g., laughter, breathing, background noise).
- •Quality Assurance: Review and refine transcripts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project guidelines.
- •Attention to Detail: Capture subtle nuances in speech, including tone, interruptions, and conversational flow.
- •Guideline Adherence: Follow detailed annotation standards and formatting rules across all tasks.
