About the role
1. About the Role: We are seeking a professional voice actor for a scripted voice acting project. This role calls for a Male Voice between 45–55 years old. We are looking for a deep, grounded, cinematic narrator voice with natural American-accented English and a premium, authoritative presence. You will deliver scripted voice recordings that capture a specific tone, character, emotion, and performance style. The focus is on bringing written scripts to life with natural pacing, clear delivery, emotional nuance, and consistent professional performance. This role is especially well suited for voice actors with experience in narration, trailers, documentary voiceover, audiobooks, dramatic reading, or commercial voice work. 2. Performance Style: You may be asked to perform scripts similar in tone to: - A prestige documentary opening narration - A historical or investigative narration - A dramatic long-form story introduction The goal is to sound elevated, compelling, and cinematic while remaining believable and restrained. 3. Performance Direction: Read with a deep, cinematic tone. The performance should feel controlled, grounded, and powerful, with a strong sense of atmosphere and restraint. The ideal performance should carry weight, confidence, and emotional depth while still sounding natural and believable. Strong candidates will be able to create tension, gravity, and immersion through subtle vocal choices rather than overacting. We are not looking for a parody “movie trailer” voice, an overly dramatic announcer, or an exaggerated character impression. 4. Audition Process: Selected applicants will be asked to complete a short audition using provided script lines.
