About This Role
We are seeking native male German speakers to contribute high-quality English-language recordings that naturally reflect authentic German accent characteristics. In this role, you will record short scripted English prompts and transcribe your own spoken audio to ensure accuracy and clarity. Your contributions will directly support the development of next-generation AI voice models—helping them better understand, interpret, and respond to German-accented English used by millions of speakers around the world.
Responsibilities
- Audio Recording: Record English language prompts and sentences using your natural German-accented English. Recordings should reflect authentic pronunciation patterns without exaggeration or modification of your natural speaking style.
- Audio Transcription: Accurately transcribe your own audio recordings in English, ensuring precision in capturing spoken words, including any accent-related pronunciation variations.
- Consistency Standards: Ensure all recordings maintain natural speech patterns, appropriate pacing, and clear articulation.
Benefits
- Compensation: $15 - $20 per hour
- Supplementary performance-based incentives may be available based on the role
